About me

I am an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. I study how digitalization changes organizational processes and the way people work. More specifically, my current research focuses on future of work, knowledge work automation, and management of AI. My work has appeared in academic journals including Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, Journal of Information Technology, and MIS Quarterly Executive.

In addition to research, I am actively involved in education. Currently, I serve as a program manager for M.Sc. Digital Leadership at the University of Gothenburg. I also teach courses on platforms and strategy at the same program. I have co-authored three teaching cases on various aspects of technology management, which have been used in educational programs around the world.

I received my doctoral degree from Aalto University School of Business in Finland, where I also worked as a postdoctoral researcher. Before moving to Gothenburg I worked as a Lecturer at Aston Business School, United Kingdom.
